Our family uses our The Lodge Pro-Logic 14-Inch Cast-Iron Wok with Loop Handles all of the time (read our review here), to not only cook stir-fry, but to cook an array of dishes. We are big fans of traditional woks, but we decided that to be fair, we had to try an assortment of woks, and to our dismay that includes electric woks. We did test five different electric woks (after doing extensive research), and we only found one electric wok that meets our standards. That wok is the Breville EW30XL Electric Gourmet Wok.

This electric wok is the only one that we found that can actually get hot enough to cook a decent stir fry. This is due to the 1500-watt butterfly element that heats the entire wok surface. It is also easy to control the heat since there are 14 different settings. It also has a temperature indicator light, to let you know what temperature the wok is at.

Another wonderful feature is the lid which is made of heavy glass with a stainless steel rim. It also has a steam vent.

One wonderful thing about this electric wok (which really surprised us) is how easy it is to clean. It has a non-stick surface and everything goes into the dishwasher except for the temperature probe and the power cord. It is incredibly simple to handle.
